- ➤ Iowa City Housing Authority launched a pilot program to help 19 households secure stable housing by offering financial incentives to landlords—$1,000 for an adult household and $2,000 for a household with children—and partners with Shelter House to provide case management and supportive services. - ➤ The Iowa men’s basketball team beat Xavier 81-62 at Carver-Hawkeye Arena Friday night, with guard Bennett Stirtz scoring 21 points to boost the team to a 3-0 record. They will host Southeast Missouri State Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. The Gazette
