- ➤ Voters in the Iowa City Community School District elected two incumbents and one newcomer to the school board Tuesday—Jayne Finch, Ruthina Malone and Jennifer Horn-Frasier. Finch got 26.4 percent of the votes, Malone got 26.3 percent and Horn-Frasier got 20.3 percent—records show five candidates ran for three seats on a board that serves about 14,000 students.
