Iowa's public universities propose tuition hikes for the 2025-26 academic year; UI and ISU plan a 3% increase for in-state undergraduates while UNI seeks a 2.7% rise — all pending Iowa Board of Regents approval.

The board will review the proposals on April 23–24 and decide at its June meeting if the increases will go into effect.

A University of Iowa student union said five students had their visas revoked by federal officials after a webinar with the Dean of International Programs.
