City High students who founded the Music Impacts Community nonprofit held a Winter Soundscape concert at James Theater on Thursday — raising over $2,500 for Ronald McDonald House — and plan to expand their mission to Cedar Rapids and Davenport.

The 'Twilights' art installation, unveiled Nov.

18, transforms a dark alley connecting the Pedestrian Mall with The Graduate Hotel on South Dubuque Street into an immersive space inspired by fireflies (bringing safety and community). The project is supported by city and federal funds.
