- ➤ Voting for the Iowa City Press-Citizen Student of the Week poll is open for public and private high school students with votes accepted at press-citizen.com until noon on Nov. 20—nominations come from Johnson County high school principals and faculty. The winner will be announced Friday and featured in an accompanying article, with nominees including Iowa City Liberty High School seniors Saria Abdalla and Keegan Burke and Iowa City High School sophomore Jordany Vega Rivera. - ➤ The Iowa City Housing Authority announced its new landlord incentive program on Thursday to help 19 households find housing this winter—landlords can earn $1,000 or $2,000 if children are present, and the program will run for at least 120 days or until funds run out. KCRG
