Representatives from the Iowa Department of Natural Resources hosted a virtual hearing on Thursday to review water quality standards for toxic substances, nitrates, and E. coli so Iowa can update its human health criteria to match updated EPA guidance—another virtual meeting will be held on Sept. 23 at 2:30 p.m. with public comments accepted until Oct. 20.
