Iowa City designated four historic properties in the Northside neighborhood on Aug.
27; the Iowa City Community Theatre spearheaded preservation efforts — three are old homes once owned by the late Mary Chudacek.

Iowa City Downtown District announced on Aug.
27 that its Ambassador Program received a Climate Action Matters Grant to add two electric-assisted cargo tricycles for service across downtown's 40+ square blocks. The tricycles will replace gas vehicles to cut emissions and boost response times.
