- ➤ Pancheros will hand out 1,000 unique codes for $1 burritos today across the University of Iowa campus and downtown Iowa City; flyers will be available starting at 10:30 a.m. and can be redeemed through the Pancheros app until Sept. 1 — the restaurant is partnering with UI Dance Marathon and donating $1 per redeemed code. - ➤ On Aug. 3, police charged 17-year-old Moayed Elsid with attempted murder and firearm possession by a felon after a shooting on the 600 Block of Court Street injured four people and witnesses reported that he specifically targeted a victim amid an ongoing dispute. Iowa City Press-Citizen
