CYked!, a new indoor cycling studio founded by Cara Viner, will open downtown in October to offer high-energy, music-driven classes on ICG bikes.
The studio will feature various class formats and a $39 special introductory offer (presale memberships available) for community members eager for a fresh fitness experience.

Despite ending the fiscal year with a $26.3 million cash balance, Iowa City CSD plans to set up an $8 million anticipatory warrant (a short-term line-of-credit safety net) to cover payroll needs on Sept.
15 as officials meet early Sept. to finalize the borrowing terms.
🏥 Health
ICDD has announced its first Downtown Wellness Festival scheduled for Saturday, Aug.
22. The event will feature free fitness and wellness classes, pickleball, group runs and stroller walks across the Ped Mall to highlight local health and wellness businesses.
