- ➤ Police arrested a 15-year-old juvenile on Monday after officers responded to shots fired on the 1600 block of Sycamore Street behind Sycamore Mall where evidence of gunfire and a recovered firearm led to multiple charges. KCRG
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ The EPA tested air quality on Iowa City's east side and found that odor came from trace amounts of toluene emitted by the Loparex facility at levels between 58.8 and 425 parts per billion—well below levels that would harm health. The agency found no environmental violations and will keep monitoring the area. The Gazette

- ➤ At a special meeting on Tuesday, several Iowa Board of Regents members asked to change the new DEI policy, and the board approved the revisions by a vote of 7 to 1.
