A passenger was airlifted to the University of Iowa Hospital after her Buick — a 2004 sedan — hit a train in Wapello County at around 4:40 p.m. Monday when the driver did not stop at the crossing.

Golden Alexander, a vintage rock trio that claims to be triplets despite the members not looking alike, will headline the Northside Concert Series at 6 p.m. Saturday, July 26 at the corner of Market Street and Linn Street in Iowa City.

The Iowa Board of Regents postponed a vote on a policy that lets students opt out of courses with heavy DEI and CRT content after receiving feedback from faculty and residents.
