- ➤ Kathleen Reynolds — an Iowa City resident — is organizing a donation drive to help flood victims in Kerr County, Texas; she and her son created Iowans Supporting Texans and plan to work with local Salvation Army chapters to deliver a semi-truck load of supplies while she covers travel expenses so that all donations assist the victims. ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Videos show that on June 22 (3 a.m.), an 18-year-old woman drove through a red light and into the Iowa River and on June 25 an Amazon truck lost control near North Riverside Drive and Highway 6, with city officials saying the incidents were isolated cases caused by alcohol and wet weather and no injuries were reported.
