The Iowa City Aerohawks will host their final RC airshow on July 12 at 11 a.m. as a city expansion project takes over their longtime flying site; the club ends a 35-year tradition with one final show that promises to be the most exciting + largest yet.

In Iowa City, fireworks can be set off only on Friday, July 3 from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday, July 4 from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday, July 5 from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.; violations may result in a $250 fine+.
