Chef Thyron Mathews, a 16-time Grand Champion and Netflix BBQ Showdown winner, talked with Today in Iowa about common home grilling mistakes and his journey from a student-athlete in Oelwein to a Food Network star ahead of the BBQ & Brews event at Principal Park today.
