Students in Iowa City schools will gain hands-on experience next school year at the new Center for Innovation, which houses administrators' offices, K-12 learning spaces, and meeting rooms at 2255 N Dubuque Rd. The facility will also offer two health care academies and adult classes in partnership with Kirkwood Community College — with room for about 40 students in the first year.
Iowa football officially begins its recruiting season as it plans to host 22 2026 prospects over the next three weekends while recruiting rankings show the class is in a strong position—On3 ranks it 25th overall and seventh in the Big Ten.
Three prospects—defensive back Isaiah McMillian and defensive linemen Cory House and Sawyer Jezierski—are set for official visits this weekend as a larger group is scheduled for June 20—22.
