- ➤ Iowa City police asked the public to help locate a person of interest linked to suspicious activity that occurred at 10:30 p.m. on April 18 in the 900 block of West Benton Street; anyone with security camera footage is urged to contact Detective Chris Passmore. KCRG
REAL ESTATE NEWS
- ➤ A court ruled in favor of GreenState Credit Union in a $28 million foreclosure case that affects several downtown buildings including the 15-floor Chauncey, a mixed-use property with retail, a hotel, a bowling alley and living spaces. The ruling stated that the developer owed nearly $20 million on The Chauncey and additional funds on other properties, and the sheriff's office will facilitate a public auction to recover unpaid mortgage funds.
