- ➤ Iowa City CSD board approved its Fiscal Year 2027 budget on Tuesday, March 24, cutting $7.5M by reducing teaching positions, administrative pay and services to align staffing levels with enrollment — residents raised concerns about financial mismanagement during the meeting. - ➤ The Iowa Department of Transportation said that starting on March 30, Interstate 80 near mile marker 242 will operate with two lanes on each side for bridge deck overlay work that will continue until July, and drivers may experience slower trips. KCRG
