Local officials are set to complete several projects in the area in 2026—Coralville will finish 5th Street reconstruction and break ground on a rec center, Tiffin’s rec center will open by fall, Iowa City will wrap up Court Street improvements, and the Forevergreen Road extension will begin bidding soon.

Greater Iowa City Inc. was selected by Heartland Forward’s Center for Investment Readiness to boost local small business growth and capital.

The data-driven STRIDs initiative will use local stakeholder input to create investment-ready districts in Iowa City, Coralville and North Liberty.
