HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Flu cases in Eastern Iowa are climbing as 47 schools reported at least 10% of students ill before Christmas and St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids saw its cases triple over the holiday. The hospital urged those with positive at-home tests to visit a doctor for treatment like Tamiflu. KCRG
REAL ESTATE NEWS
- ➤ Plans for 400 acres at the former ACT campus (including 44 senior housing units) have been revealed on Iowa City's east side. The project will add commercial space along Highway 1 and more housing—including Iowa’s first pediatric palliative care center—with some construction underway and additional work set for spring.
