About this event
Come get wild with us! Explore the beauty of the natural world in the Museum’s classroom with local touch-table specimens, seasonally themed, nature-centered play opportunities, and plenty of ways to learn about our home planet. Each season brings new opportunities to discover, create, and connect with nature!
Autumn Activities:
• Celebrate the colors and textures of fall with hands-on activities inspired by the changing seasons!
• Explore leaves, gourds, pinecones, and acorns at our nature touch table.
• Create colorful corn cobs using beads and pipe cleaners.
• Experiment with pinecone painting and printmaking.
• Discover how autumn leaves move in the wind.
Nature Play activities are designed for school-aged children, but curious explorers of all ages are welcome!
